Paphos (Pafos) is a town rich in history and culture. Located on the south-western tip of the island, the town was originally split into two parts, Old Paphos and New Paphos. The town area is located at the top of the resort and has many traditional restaurants and a great shopping area. The lower part of the resort, Kato Paphos, has a beautiful harbour that serves mainly as a small marina and fishing shelter for 300 boats. Walking along the harbor promenade or sitting to enjoy a meal or a Frappe in one of the many restaurants and cafes is a must during your stay.
There are a number of attractions within the Paphos area. Paphos Zoo, a large waterpark, go-karting, shopping malls and golf courses can be reached within a 15 minute drive of the resort.
The Paphos District is also home to some other popular resorts including the lively beach area of Coral Bay, the scenic resort of Latchi, and Argaka, where private beachfront villas can be enjoyed at very affordable prices.
Paphos airport is just a 10 minute drive away from the resort centre (Kato Paphos) making it a very popular destination for those preferring a short transfer from the airport.

Latchi
The charming resort of Latchi is a picturesque fishing village, well-known for its cosy harbour-side restaurants and crowd-free beaches. Popular with both tourists and locals, the area offers visitors a chance to enjoy some of the best scenery on the island.
The resort lies on the North West coast of Cyprus, between Polis and the scenic Akamas National Park. The beach is more than a mile long with shallow warm waters and plenty of sun-loungers and umbrellas for hire. There are many watersports available including jet-skiing, parasailing and wakeboarding.
A trip to the area isn’t complete without a visit to the Akamas National Park. The area has over 50 nature trails, ranging from gentle walks to lengthier hikes that wind through pine and juniper forests. One trail leads to the Baths of Aphrodite, where it is said the Goddess of Love used to bathe and where she met her lover, Adonis, when he stopped off for a drink while hunting.
Another recommended activity whilst in Latchi is to take a trip on one of the many boat cruises that leave from the harbour daily. Enjoy the view as you sail along the beautiful coastline to the Blue Lagoon, a large bay with crystal clear waters, which is a snorkeler’s paradise.
Coral Bay
The lively resort of Coral Bay is among one of the top tourist attractions in the Paphos region. Located in Peyia and just a short drive from Paphos town, the area has a variety of traditional tavernas, restaurants, cafes and bars.
The beautiful Coral Bay Beach with its long golden sands and shallow turquoise waters is backed by limestone headlands, offering amazing scenic views. With an EU Blue Flag certification, it is an ideal choice for all, including families with children. There are plenty of sun-loungers and umbrellas for hire and also a variety of watersports to choose from.
A trip to the main town centre of Paphos is recommended where you can stroll along the seafront or visit the Paphos Castle located by the quaint, scenic harbor. Just a short walk from the castle you can visit the famous Roman mosaics dating back to the 2nd Century, considered some of the best mosaics in the Eastern Mediterranean.
Another recommended trip is a visit to the ancient burial grounds, Tombs of the Kings. A UNESCO World Heritage site, many of the tombs date back to the 4th Century BC. Worth a visit to see some of the underground tombs which have been well preserved with their amazing structures.
