Kapparis

The resort area of Kapparis is located between the larger resort of Protaras and the main town of Paralimni. Whilst smaller than the neighbouring areas of Protaras and Pernera, it has become a popular destination for holidaymakers who want to be close to the sea and tourist amenities but also be able to relax on holiday in a quiet location.

Kapparis has a number of local and international restaurants and bars and is popular for its clean and sandy coves and beaches which are especially suitable for families with small children.

The three main beaches are Fireman’s Beach, Malama Beach and Ayia Triada Beach. Each one is picturesque in its own way, with shallow, clean waters and soft sand. Sun loungers and umbrellas are available for rent at each beach with a selection of food and drink facilities within easy reach.

For those who want to explore the area, car hire is readily available or why not make use of the local bus service which passes frequently from the outskirts of Kapparis into the nearby resorts of Pernera, Protaras and Ayia Napa during the summer months. Paralimni and a good range of shops and supermarkets can also be easily reached by bus.

Ayia Triada

The area of Ayia Triada is located after Kapparis area, less than 10 minutes’ walk from the resort amenities. The area is named after the charming and picturesque beach and fishing shelter which are framed by a pretty church overlooking the sea.

Ayia Triada is both a tourist and residential area, with many newly-built villas close to the coastline. As well as being within walking distance of Kapparis it is also within easy reach of Pernera and Protaras and the town of Paralimni is less than 5 minutes’ drive away.

Visit the secluded Serena Bay for a day of relaxation or visit one of the many fresh fish tavernas that are dotted throughout the area. A quiet and relaxing location with plenty of facilities close-by, Ayia Triada is ideal for a relaxing holiday away from the hustle and bustle of the resort.

Pernera

Pernera is a charming resort area which has grown in popularity over the past 10 years due to the development of a number of holiday villas and apartments. The resort is lively during the summer months and hosts a varied selection of restaurants, bars and shops, suitable for couples and families of all ages.

A newly built seafront promenade connects Pernera to the neighbouring resort of Protaras and is an excellent way to view the rugged coastline and visit the numerous sandy beaches that both resorts offer. The promenade is lit up during the evenings and features a number of eateries and bars that can be enjoyed from morning until late evening.

Daily boat trips are available at different points along the Pernera and Protaras coastline, which give a great view of the fabulous coastline and a pass from the outskirts of the abandoned ghost town of Famagusta, which is located to the north of the area.
Popular beaches in Pernera include Kalamies Beach, Pernera Beach and Marlita Beach, all of which are ideal for swimming and offer a selection of fun watersports.

The resort has a waterpark which is great for a day of family fun and many child-friendly places to eat and drink in a relaxed atmosphere.
